With the delightful weather many of us are cleaning out garages and closets, so it's a good time to remind you of the Kingwood Garage Sale which continues to be a great place to unload unwanted or underused personal belongings.
The Kingwood Civic Club will host the next garage sale on June 1. (If you miss this one, the next is on October 5.) The location is the parking lot across from Kingwood College on Sorters-McClellan Road.
In the event of bad weather, it will take place the following Sunday, same time, same place. You can find out if it's been postponed at 1-888-292-6529, the Civic Club's phone line, starting at 7PM the night before the sale.
Sellers may begin set up at 4:00AM. Buyers may enter the sales area at 7:00AM. The Garage Sale will end at 2:00PM. Pre-sale tickets are available two weeks prior to the garage sale at the YMCA located on 2420 W. Lake Houston Parkway, 281-360-2500. Pre-sale tickets are sold until 4pm the day before.
Ticket Prices: Pre-sale $30.00 each or two spaces for $50.00; At the door, each space is $35.00 or two spaces for $60.00.
